Who we are
WagerVerdict operates the website at wagerverdict.com. For data protection purposes, WagerVerdict is the data controller for personal data collected through this site. Contact us at legal@wagerverdict.com.
What we collect

We do not ask for or knowingly collect financial details, identity documents, gambling account details or anything about your gambling activity. Those stay between you and the operator.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not collect data from anyone we know to be under 18, and this site is not aimed at under-18s.
- We do not build profiles for automated decision-making.
- We do not receive your gambling account activity from operators - affiliate reporting is aggregated.
Cookies and tracking
We use essential cookies to run the site and, subject to your consent where the law requires it, analytics and affiliate attribution cookies. The full detail, including how to refuse or delete them, is in our cookie policy.
Who your data is shared with
Only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, and only as far as needed:
- Our web hosting provider, which stores the site and its server logs
- Our analytics provider, where analytics is enabled and you have consented
- Affiliate networks and operator affiliate programmes, which receive the click referral needed to attribute a signup
- Our email provider, for correspondence you send us
We may also disclose data where we are legally required to, or to establish or defend legal claims.
International transfers
Some providers are located outside the European Economic Area or the UK. Where personal data is transferred outside those areas, we rely on an adequacy decision or on standard contractual clauses together with any additional safeguards required.
How long we keep it
Analytics data is retained in aggregated form for no longer than 26 months. Server logs are kept for up to 12 months. Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with the matter and then for up to 24 months as a record, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time where consent was the basis. Residents of California and other US states with similar laws have comparable rights, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
To exercise any of these, email legal@wagerverdict.com. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and access to systems is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.
Links to other sites
This site links to gambling operators and other third parties. Once you follow a link, their privacy policy applies rather than ours, and we have no control over what they collect. Read their policy before registering.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted on the page.
